As a child, Steve’s grandfather operated a small antique furniture business and as his little unfit apprentice, well we guess that this it where it all started for him. All the wood scraps became his contraption, assembled in the most convoluted manner. Taking raw materials and creating something authentic (no matter what it is) has been a passion of his ever since.
As a Marine Corps Veteran, attention to detail lends itself well to his craft. After his service in the mid 1990’s he started with smaller projects such as decks etc. and completed his first home in 1999. Since then, he has created everything from intimate outdoor living spaces, to commercial builds and everything in between, including a luxury Parade of Homes winner in 2008.
